Up Helly Aa 2026 was a night to remember for everyone who took part, as Lerwick was spectacularly lit up with fire, music and tradition. The torchlit procession involving the Jarl's Squad of Vikings, and almost 1,000 guizers is held every year on the last Tuesday in January.
