Offering a guided rockpooling experience, Shetland Rockpool Safaris are a unique way to connect with nature and discover new and exciting wildlife. Providing something for all ages, our safaris offer Shetlands only guided beneath the waves experience without getting more than your hands wet. Our guides are expert naturalists and will show you how to find and identify a whole host of rockpool dwelling critters, from big crabs and starfish, to tiny tropical looking sea slugs, called nudibranchs. Whether you are turning rocks or sifting through seaweed, you are guaranteed to find something new and wonderous.
Our 1.5hr tours are dictated by the tides so check out our schedule on the website for our next Safari, or get in touch to book a private session. Most of our sessions are at Leebitten, but we can explore other sites on request.
