The workshop visit will give you an understanding of what Mary is trying to achieve through her work and why she is doing it. She will explain the development process, from conception and design to a finished product. You will have a chance to browse the current collections of Fair Isle textiles.
Outside, you will enjoy the spectacular scenery around Bakka as well as the rich flora and fauna; native wild flowers, rare wader birds, seals and occasionally an otter. Also, you will have a chance to view Bakka's flock of Shetland black sheep.
