Disability Shetland Has Open Day For New Holiday Chalet

by Deborah Leggate -

Disability Shetland are having an open day to launch the newly refurbished Springfield holiday chalet. The chalet is adapted for people with disabilities and has level access to all rooms.

Springfield is a Norwegian-style house with a large open plan furnished lounge with large picture windows so that guests can relax and appreciate the spectacular views. There is a dining area and newly refurbished wheelchair accessible kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Off the main hall there are three twin bedrooms and a “wet room” which includes a shower chair and handrails. Outside is a grassed garden, an external store and a garage.

The property which is located in Royal Houll, Scousburgh, will be open the public on Saturday 31st March 12pm - 3pm.
