Island hopping is a breeze!

There are 15 inhabited islands to explore - all have seas as the clear as the Bahamas, jaw-dropping scenery, a unique culture - but which one to choose?! Fair Isle is famed for its knitwear and world renowned Bird Observatory. Yell – aka otter capital - is home to award-winning golden beaches. The "bonnie isle" – Whalsay, has a picturesque Hanseatic Booth and a superb Heritage Centre. Foula - the island at the "edge of the world" – offers extreme fun as you climb into the jaws of an emerald cavern - Da Sneck ida Smallie. Fetlar is the "garden of Shetland" and home to rare red-necked phalaropes, and Unst has many jewels in its crown, including the Boat Haven and breathtaking Hermaness National Nature Reserve. Wherever you choose to roam - island hopping by boat or plane is a breeze!
